Shining Star Pageants presents "Miss Blount County Harvest Beauty 2012" to be held on October 6th at J. B. Pennington High School in Blountsville, AL.

This is a fund raiser pageant for Shaunaci Titus, daughter of Mechelle Hendrix. Shaunaci has been in ICU since the last week of May and has been on a ventilator most of the summer! She is a MIRACLE and is now at Children's Hospital for Rehabilitation to learn to walk again!

October 7, 2012 – Pageants in Alabama
Sunday, October 7th. This is an annual pageant sponsored by the Blount/Oneonta Chamber of Commerce and is held each year as a part of the Covered Bridge Festival. Girls ages one month through high school seniors can compete PLUS this year we will add a college age division.
The contestants of the Miss Covered Bridge Festival Pageant scheduled for October 7th will have the opportunity to be special guests and to meet Miss Alabama, Anna Laura Bryan, at the Miss Covered Bridge Preliminary set for October 21st. ALSO, because this is a Chamber of Commerce sporsored event, the Chamber will be giving all winners a certificate to ride in the Blount County/Oneonta Christmas Parade at no charge.
forms are available at Elegant Touch, Bows and Toes, Miss Kelly's Dance Studio in Oneonta, and the Chamber of Commerce Office. More pick up locations will be added soon! Or, forms can be emailed or mailed upon request. Remember this is an annual event and has been sponsored by the Blount/County Oneonta Chamber of Commerce as a part of the yearly Covered Bridge Festival for many years. All proceeds will be used for the Miss Covered Bridge Preliminary which is an official Miss Alabama/Miss America Preliminary.

Alabama Pageants and Crowning Moments Pageants are proudly directing the Annual Greenway Festival Pageant for the City of Brookside. ALL proceeds go to the Greenway Revitalization Project.
This is a great pageant, held every year, ahead of the festival. We are excited to have been asked to direct this for them as years and years ago before we began directing pageants, our own daughters were Greenway Queens!

October 20, 2012 – Pageants in Alabama
Little Miss River Region Pageant, an open semi-natural pageant for girls 1 month - 17 years, will be held on Saturday, October 20th in Prattville, Alabama, at the Doster Center. So many ways to win a crown but everyone takes home a crown!! No one ever leaves empty handed!! We will be offering optional Halloween Costume/Halloween Wear. Those winners will receive pumpkin themed crowns! Age group winners, two overall winners, not double crowned! Also offering these additional optional events: Overall Most Photogenic, 2 to be crowned; Overall Most Beautiful, 2 to be crowned
Additionally we would love for last years Queens to come help us crown!!!
Charity will be Cullman Caring for Kids Food Bank. The contestant bringing the most items for our charity will be crowned our Charity Sweetheart and she will receive a crown, monogrammed banner, and a trophy
October 28, 2012 – Pageants in Alabama
Miracle Maker Queens of Alabama will be held Oct 28, Hoover Alabama at the Aveda Institute Auditorium,
Save the date for this special pageant with Miss Alabama, Anna Laura Bryan!!!
This pageant will be to help bring in new stuffed animals for Children's Hospital and raise money for Children's Miracle Network and Hospitals.
The Charity Sweetheart for this pageant will be crowned for bringing the most new stuffed animals. The sweetheart will receive a photo shoot with Miss Alabama (donated by Southern Exposure Photography) and lunch, along with a Miss America style crown and sash donated by Alabama Pageants.
Anna Laura sincerely wants all girls to be able to participate so the dress will be Sunday style dress only. I need to stress this will be a very natural pageant.
Anna Laura will also conduct a session on "inner beauty" with all the girls prior to the pageant starting. We truly hope this will be a memorable day for everyone!
