December 1, 2013 - Pageants in Alabama
The Music and Drama Department at OHS will be sponsoring the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant on Sunday afternoon, December 1st. Final deadline to enter is November 18th. Girls ages one month through high school seniors are invited to participate. Entry fee of $45 includes four bonus events at no extra charge - prettiest hair, eyes, dress, and smile. Also, we will be offering photogenic for $10 per photo submtted and casual wear competition for $15 - both of these are optional and will not be counted in on the overall score. Early entry discount of $50 includes everything! But to receive discount, entry form and fee must be received by 5:00 p.m. on October 31st. All contestants will receive a participation trophy and winners will receive a crown and trophy. As an optional community service project, contestants will be collecting new cold weather items such has hats, scarves, gloves, etc., for distribution by the Amaryllis Garden Club. The Oak Mountain High School Choral Boosters will host the Miss Winter Wonderland Pageant on Saturday, December 7, at Oak Mountain High School.
Directed, judged and emceed by former Miss Alabama's, this is sure to be an experience you don't want to miss!
Age Divisions:
Birth - 2 years old “Wee Miss"
3 years old - 4 years old “Tiny Miss”
Kindergarten - 1st grade “ Petite Miss”
2nd grade - 3rd grade “Little Miss”
4th grade - 5th grade “Junior Miss”
6th grade - 8th grade “Miss”
Entry fee - $35
Entry fee, PLUS photogenic - $40
