2012 Spring Beauty & Charm Pageant
The Hitchin Post will host our first "Rodeo Queen Round-Up Pageant" on April 28, 2012, just one week prior to our 5th Annual Championship Rodeo!! This pageant will be a little out of the norm in that we will have evening gown competition and western wear competition to determine our winner. Ages 4 -18 welcome! Also, an optional talent competition will be offered!
Pageant will begin at 4:00 pm. You DO NOT have to be from our area to participate. Winners will represent The Hitchin Post at the 5th Annual Championship Rodeo and other events throughout the year! More info will be posted here as it becomes available. Or, call us at 205-590-1952

The 6th Annual Central Alabama Cinderella Pageant will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at Bluff Park Elementary School in Hoover. The pageant is open to girls ages 0-26 living in the central Alabama area. Competitions include: Interview, Beauty, Casualwear, and Talent. Central Alabama Cinderella is a natural pageant prelim for the 2012 Alabama State Cinderella Pageant to be held in June in Tuscaloosa. The Miss Daisy Pageant, presented by Aegis Women's Club, will be held Saturday, April 28th at Gardendale High School. The pageant is open to girls ages 1 yr to 12th grade. Each age division will have a winner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up and side category winners. Entry fee is $55 and each side event is $5. Side events include Best Dressed, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile and Most Photogenic. We will also award a Peoples Choice winner overall and an Academic Achievement Award will be presented in the 10th-12th grade division. Each contestant will receive a trophy, with special awards going to the runners up and side category winners. Each Division Title Winner will receive a beautiful crown, trophy, embroidered winners sash and prizes. The winner in the 10th -12th grade division will also be awarded a SCHOLARSHIP!!
ABSOLUTELY NO RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS!!!
This pageant is a fundraiser for Aegis and all proceeds will go to local public schools! Each divisional winner will be presented with the opportunity to represent Aegis throughout the year at different events, including riding on their own float in the Gardendale Christmas Parade.
