Thank you to everyone who came out to support the Karli's Angels pageant in Jemison. We were able to give the family a sizeable donation towards their medical expenses. But, it was so amazing to see the turnout and show of love for the family. Special thanks to my judges, Jamie Brooks, Laura Guffin and Amanda Whitaker and my emcee, Erica Leonardi Clark. The Alabama Christian Miss Open State Pageant will be held on Saturday, April 21st in Prattville, Alabama, at Destiny Christian Church. Applications are due by next Friday, April 6th. This is a semi-natural pageant open to young ladies and women, ages 6 -30, Miss, Ms. and Mrs., with 8 eight divisions. The Hitchin Post will host our first "Rodeo Queen Round-Up Pageant" on April 28, 2012, just one week prior to our 5th Annual Championship Rodeo!! This pageant will be a little out of the norm in that we will have evening gown competition and western wear competition to determine our winner. Ages 4 -18 welcome! Also, an optional talent competition will be offered!

The Miss Daisy Pageant, presented by Aegis Women's Club, will be held Saturday, April 28th at Gardendale High School. The pageant is open to girls ages 1 yr to 12th grade. Each age division will have a winner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd runners up and side category winners. Entry fee is $55 and each side event is $5. Side events include Best Dressed, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile and Most Photogenic. We will also award a Peoples Choice winner overall and an Academic Achievement Award will be presented in the 10th-12th grade division. Each contestant will receive a trophy, with special awards going to the runners up and side category winners. Each Division Title Winner will receive a beautiful crown, trophy, embroidered winners sash and prizes. The winner in the 10th -12th grade division will also be awarded a SCHOLARSHIP!!
ABSOLUTELY NO RESIDENCY RESTRICTIONS!!!
This pageant is a fundraiser for Aegis and all proceeds will go to local public schools! Each divisional winner will be presented with the opportunity to represent Aegis throughout the year at different events, including riding on their own float in the Gardendale Christmas Parade. This Pageant is the Miss Lucky Charm Pageant. A natural pageant with age appropriate make up. It will be held on Sunday March 11 from 2-4 at Celebrations. It is for ages birth-18 years. The registration fee is $40 and that includes photogenic. Each sibling will recieve a $5 discount and each entry will include one adult paid admission. All profits from this pageant will be donated to The St Clair County Children's Advocacy Center. The registration deadline is March 1. Miss Blount County Beauty Pageant will be held on Sunday, March 18th beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Oneonta High School. This is an annual event sponsored by the Oneonta Redskin Marching Band. Pageant is open to girls ages one month through high school seniors. Entry fee will be $65 and will include four bonus events at no extra charge. Photogenic contest may be entered for $10. Deadline for entry will be March 10th. Everyone will receive a trophy and winners will receive a crown and trophy. Winners will ride in the Oneonta/Blount County Christmas Parade.

She has been in Children’s Hospital much of the time since the transplant. Karli was recently diagnosed with HUS. This genetic syndrome requires a costly drug to combat it and at this time insurance is not covering the expense of this course of treatment.

Fantastic 4 Pageant
Calling all Natural and Glitz Contestants!
Girls and Boys are welcome!
Are you Natural or are you a Glitz contestant, well at the Fantastic 4 Pageant, it doesn't matter, because we have titles for both. You choose to complete either Natural or Glitz. You will only compete against the same, for example all Natural Contestants compete together and all Glitz contestants compete together. There will be 54 Natural Winners and 54 Glitz winners... that is a lot of chances to win a title.
The Fantastic 4 pageant has 11 age groups
You will compete in four pageants in one day, BUT you only have to go on stage once, and you will be judged by four different panels of judges, you could win 1, 2, 3 or all 4 pageants. How fun would that be to win 4 pageants in one day!
As always we give out score sheets and our judges remain after crowning to answer any questions that you may have.

Karli Chadwick is a vivacious and beautiful 16 year old student at Isabella High School. She received her 2nd kidney transplant on November 3rd. She has been in Children’s Hospital much of the time since the transplant. Karli was recently diagnosed with HUS. This genetic syndrome requires a costly drug to combat it and at this time insurance is not covering the expense of this course of treatment.
